總覽

Cyrano（「本 App」、「我們」）是 Jay Lin 開發的 iOS 應用程式，提供裝置端 AI 輔助的即時對話翻譯與回應建議。本隱私權政策說明 App 存取哪些資料、如何處理，以及您作為使用者的權利。

簡短版：Cyrano v1.0 所有處理都在您的 iPhone 上完成。對話音訊、文字逐字稿、AI 建議都不會離開您的裝置。我們不蒐集任何資料。

App 存取的內容

麥克風

• 目的：收錄您和對話對象的音訊，用於即時翻譯與 AI 助手功能。
• 音訊去向：音訊緩衝區直接串流給 Apple 裝置端語音辨識（SFSpeechRecognizer），辨識完即丟棄。
• 儲存：不寫入磁碟，不傳送至任何伺服器。

語音辨識

• 提供者：Apple SFSpeechRecognizer，設定為使用裝置端辨識。
• 結果處理：轉成的文字保留在 app 記憶體（RAM）中作為當前對話 session 使用，關閉 app 後即消失。
• 無持久化：v1.0 不將對話文字儲存至任何持久化儲存。

AI 助手（Apple Foundation Models）

• 提供者：Apple 裝置端語言模型，iOS 26+ 且支援 Apple Intelligence 的 iPhone 上可用。
• 處理位置：完全在您的 iPhone 上。提示與回應都不離開裝置。
• 舊裝置 fallback：v1.0 此 AI 助手功能不可用，會顯示明確的 in-app 訊息，不會 fallback 至雲端服務。

Apple Translation Framework

• 提供者：Apple 內建翻譯框架。
• 處理位置：使用者確認一次性語言包下載後，於裝置端處理。

App 不做的事（v1.0）

• 無 analytics 或 telemetry SDK
• 無對外傳送資料的 crash reporter
• 無廣告識別碼（不使用 IDFA）
• 無第三方追蹤
• 無使用者帳號或認證
• 無雲端儲存或同步
• 無與第三方分享資料
• v1.0 不對外發起任何內容處理用途的網路請求

兒童隱私

Cyrano 在 App Store 分級為 4+，我們不蒐集任何使用者（包括兒童）資料。

您的權利（GDPR / CCPA / 台灣個人資料保護法）

由於 Cyrano 不蒐集個人資料，以下權利自動滿足：

• 存取權：無資料可供存取。
• 刪除權：關閉 app 即刪除記憶體中的對話。解除安裝會移除一切。
• 資料可攜權：無資料可移轉。
• 撤回同意：您可隨時透過 iOS 設定 → Cyrano 撤銷麥克風 / 語音辨識權限。

未來版本揭露

Cyrano 未來版本（v1.1 及之後）可能引入可選的雲端 AI 提供者作為 in-app 訂閱方案的一部分。如有此變更：

• 本隱私權政策將以明確生效日更新。
• 雲端 LLM 功能將嚴格採 opt-in且需要有效訂閱。
• 任何資料送至第三方 LLM provider 前，會明確告知使用者。
• 免費版使用者將繼續保持資料零外傳。

我們承諾絕不在更新中默默改變隱私處理方式而不通知使用者。

Overview

Cyrano is an iOS application developed by Jay Lin that provides on-device AI-assisted live conversation translation and reply suggestions.

Short version: Cyrano v1.0 processes everything on your iPhone. Conversation audio, transcripts, and AI suggestions never leave your device. We collect nothing.

What the App Accesses

Microphone

• Purpose: To capture audio for live translation and AI assistant features.
• Where audio goes: Streamed directly to Apple's on-device SFSpeechRecognizer and discarded after transcription.
• Storage: No audio written to disk or transmitted to any server.

Speech Recognition

• Apple SFSpeechRecognizer with on-device recognition where supported.
• Transcripts held in app memory only; discarded when the app closes.

AI Assistant (Apple Foundation Models)

• Apple's on-device language model. Available on iOS 26+ with Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhones.
• Entirely on-device. On older devices the assistant is unavailable in v1.0 and surfaces a clear in-app message rather than falling back to cloud.

What the App Does NOT Do (v1.0)

• No analytics or telemetry SDKs
• No data-transmitting crash reporters
• No advertising identifiers (no IDFA)
• No third-party tracking
• No user accounts
• No cloud storage or sync
• No data sharing with third parties
• No network requests for content processing in v1.0

Children's Privacy

Cyrano is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Taiwan PDPA)

Because Cyrano collects no personal data:

• Right to access: There is no data to access.
• Right to deletion: Closing the app deletes the in-memory conversation. Uninstalling removes everything.
• Right to portability: There is no data to port.
• Right to withdraw consent: Revoke microphone / speech recognition permissions via iOS Settings → Cyrano.

Future Versions Disclosure

Future versions may introduce optional cloud-based AI providers as part of an in-app subscription tier. If and when this happens:

• This Privacy Policy will be updated with a clear effective date.
• Cloud LLM features will be strictly opt-in and require an active subscription.
• Users will be clearly informed before any data is sent to a third-party LLM provider.
• Free-tier users will continue to have zero data leaving the device.
